Hoggatd Rifles The Hoggard Rifles, under the direction of the instructors, Sergeant R. Wilson and Cadet Commander L. E. Simpson, has sacrificed long hours to become a precisioned unit. As always, practice has worked and the team received invitations to perform at various festivals and parades throughout southeastern N. C. The drill team itself, is perhaps the most honored unit in the battalion, and members are chosen through tryouts at the beginning of each school year. Drill Team Commander: Lieutenant L. E.
