A loss of six key players to the varsity squad early in the season was a big handicap to the JV team. Victories over E. E. Smith, 20-0; Clinton, 13-12; and West Columbus, 22-6; were high points of the initial season. A post-season clash with New Hanover’s Junior Varsity ended the Junior Vikings season as they fell 18-13 in a hard fought battle.
