Commander J. T. Bryan crowns Debbie Welsh, the 1968 NJROTC Queen. The NJROTC Ball was one of the two formal events held at John T. Hoggard this year. A great deal of work went into the preparations for the dance. This year’s Ball was held at the Blockard Runner. The crowning of the 1968 NJROTC Queen, Deborah Welsh, highlighted the intermission ceremonies, which included a sword arch, under which the sponsors walked to be presented. The first Ball could only be termed a success. During intermission refreshments were served to the cadets and their dates. 119
