CDR RICHAmD DURHAM Reactor Department is responsible for the opera- tion and maintenance of the two nuclear reactors used for main propulsion, electrical power generation, and auxiliary services. The department consists of seven divisions with a total manpower authorization of 400 enlisted and 22 officers. Many of the divisions are sub-responsibilities for each propulsion plant.
