The field events were held on the first jy and the Raiders turned out a spectable showing, chalking up 15 ints and putting them in fifth place. The le vaulters carried the field men through e day with Steve Meyer placing 2nd, m Pennington 4th, and Ted Smith ipturing 5th to earn 14 points by emselves.
