What's the loudest of spirit makers around Rea- gan? Why, the band, of course. This large organiza- tion begins work in the summer when the members start practicing precision marching with their counter- part, the RR's. Rising each morning at 6:30 becomes a habit to band members who live by the motto, Practice makes perfect. After a superb half-time performance by the band and RR's, one can be assured that they will receive a standing ovation from Reagan fans. The band presented its first concert at the ice cream social before school started. Since then, they have performed on numerous occasions, and also have taken part in Interscholastic League competi- tion. These contests have proved to be a big part in each band member’s daily life.
