SUE SCHOALT, SKEETER SMITH, Mickey Corenblilt, Dave Lammc. and Robert Lincback act up at a meeting. This year, the Blue Jesters has outdone itself in its stage productions. Critics can really tell that Reagan’s drama department has matured in the three years in which it has been in existence. The play chosen for the fall production of the club was The Curious Savage. The play was di- rected by Mrs. Carol Farmer, and Peggy Goethe served as assistant director. The plot of the play was centered around an eccentric old lady who was battling her relatives to keep her fortune. The play was a delight to all students and parents who saw it. At Christmas, the club joined with the choral department and presented the one act opera Amahl and the Night Visitors. This was truly the epitome of hard work on the part of every Blue Jester and choir member. The two nights’ showing of the opera drew large crowds to Reagan gym to see the number one talent there was. In the spring, the club again joined the choral department in the production of the Broadway musi- cal, The Roar of the Greasepaint, the Smell of the Crowd. 81
