Annual Christmas Program Entertains Raiders The highly praised Reagan choral department consists of three groups, the Reagan Chorale, the Girls Choir and the Boys Choir. The choir per- forms throughout the year in various activities in- cluding the Christmas program in the mall and intermission at the Beauty Review. The choir is continually performing for the student body and for private service clubs. They also produced Amahl and the Night Visitors” before Christmas. The talent of the department showed when many members received high ratings in Regional Choir auditions and the University Interscholastic League competition. In the spring, the choral department joined with the drama department in producing the Broadway musical Roar of the Grease Paint and the Smell of the Crowd.” The Madrigals, an honor division of the choir, has won praise and acclaim all over North Ameri- ca. This group specializes in Renaissance music. Director of the choir is Mr. James Shepherd. AT THE CLOSE OF THE ANNUAL CHRISTMAS PROGRAM held in the mall, the entire choir gathers and sings carols around ths giant junior-senior Christmas tree.
