’68 Ariel Staff Tries Again to Receive Top Rating Ariel staffers began on a happy note after hear- ing that the ’67 Ariel, Reagan’s student literary mag- azine, received a state superior rating from the Texas High School Press Association. Connected with this honor was the fact that this was the first magazine published and submitted for critique. The Ariel contains poetry, prose, and essays, all written by Reagan students. A large bulk of the literature, however, is written by students from cre- ative writing class, one of Reagans more liberal classes. A new technique of writing to music is practiced in the course. Sponsor of the Ariel staff is Mrs. Araminta Seal. ARIEL STAFFERS, Jeanie Sansom, Scott Williams (junior editor).
