Reagan Fares Well in Basketball . . . THE RAIDER DEFENSE shows its excellence. Although the 1968 Raider Basketball team did not do as well as was wished, the team did a great job for Reagan. In all of the games this season, the Raiders fell short of winning most of their games by only a matter of a few points. Coach Delbert Moberg did a fine job of coaching for the Raiders this season, as he has done for the past three years. Out of a total of 25 games, the Raiders managed to win 9 and lose 16. Standout players for the Raiders include Jack Louis, Alan Moore, Dale Rebold, Matt Carroll and Bill Greif. Louis finished tenth in district scoring. The basketball team was hindered by the length of the football season. Several players, such as Dale Rebold, Bill Greif, Mike Bayer and Gar)' Morrison, had to start late because of football. The Raiders arc losing six players to graduation. They are Dale Rebold, Bill Greif, Dick Montgom- ery, Chick Drews, Buddy Dryden and Mike Hernan- dez. RAIDERS ARE ALWAYS tops in everything, including jump ball! COACH MOBERG GIVES the team a few words on confidence. 146
