Wins 5 of 8 The 1967 Raider B-team, led by co-captains Jimmy Williams, Emory Bellard, and Jerry Johnson, fin- ished third ih the district with 5 wins and 3 losses. The B-team was victorious over Lanier (2), Mac- Callum, Johnston, and Anderson. Offensive stand- outs for the team were Gene Sanders and Lester Ealey. Hap Euerbachcr, Jerry Johnson, Preston Mat- thews, Tim Harkins, and James Hendricks were out- standing on defense. When asked about the boys on the B-team scjuad. Coaches Pat Pennington and Wally Freytag remarked. This is as fine a bunch of hitters as we have had at Reagan.” According to the coaches, almost all of the team is expected to move up to the varsity team for the 1968 season.
