Raider Spirit Grows For Record Of Fifteen Straight Weeks ANOTHER RAIDER T.D. is add- cd to the scoreboard. LOCKHART . .. Due to the light rain that fell that night, the spectators were quite wet, but the rain never phased the mighty Raider team. The 53-0 victor)r was the second for the Reagan Raiders, al- though it was not a District game. Greif and Rebold each passed for a T.D. Kleinert, Haley, Thompson, and Rutledge each ran for a touchdown. ANDERSON . .. The Anderson Yellowjackets, new- comers to District 13AAAA, were soundly defeated with a score of 41-14. The Raiders scored two touchdowns in the first half, both made by Kleinert. The score remained 41-7 until after the clock ran out. when an Anderson player ran the ball back 100 yards to make the score 41-14. KILLEEN . .. The second District 13AAAA game for the Raiders was against the Killeen Kangaroos, in Killeen. The ’Roos were defeated by a score of 28-15. The ’Roos came on strong early in the first half by scoring in 14 plays after receiving Thomp- son’s kickoff. The Raiders then took control of the ball, and the Kangaroos made one final score in the fourth quarter to make the score 28-15. ) MISS FLURY PRESENTS the spirit stick to the senior class.
