Throughout the year the Reagan Spanish Club participates in many activities. This year the club participated in the Language Festival held in Feb- ruary, and each of the Spanish classes dined on Span- ish food at different times in the year. The Spanish Club is not only fun and festivity but an excellent opportunity to further one’s knowl- edge of the customs and culture of Spanish speaking people. Mrs. Betty Martinez-Palacio and Mrs. Doris Hen- derson, the sponsors of the Spanish Club, help to provide each member with more knowledge of the Spanish language and its people. DEBBIE YOUNGBLOOD, LINDA PURSE, Micky Vann, Pat Montgomery and Martha Lofley stand by, waiting for customers. SPANISH CLUB INSTRUCTOR, Mrs. Betty Martinez-Palacio, explains the Mexican foods sold during the Festival to a class. 97
