After teaching biology and chemistry in Lancaster city schools for almost thirty-six years, Jacob L. Hillegas re- tired on January 29, 1965, in order to devote more time to his flower shop. Over a period of thirteen years, Mr. Hillegas has given valuable instruc- tion to twenty-six student teachers and thousands of students. Above: Henry A.
