From several talented contest- ants, the students chose Grace Bowman to represent the school amidst confetti and corn shocks. Towards the middle of the month the fall play got under Way with a group of happy boys and girls. Wx The Tornado gridders started the season oft with a bang by winning their first two games, but from then on they tell prey to injuries which seriously hampered the team throughout the remainder of the season, However, they managed to eke out a record of three wins and seven losses. The most thrilling game of the season was played With Iohn Harris, when the Red and Black were holding a 7 to 6 lead in the final quarter, only to have the lads irom Harrisburg turn the tide and go on to Win.
