The first students entered on February 6 of that same year. Since that time ten classes have been graduated from the school named for the great iii ,AMN tit Lancaster educator I P lVlcCaskey served as teacher and later as pran cupal ot the Boys Hugh School near the turn ot the century He also served as Mayor of the Cnty ot Lancaster from l906 to l9lO He has I I Qu 1 M li' I , , fl R . r il L K if i always been remembered as scholar, writer, friend. This million dollar institution of learning is l.ancaster's monument to nim. Our class is the eleventh one to be graduated from lVlcCasl4ey. In our last three years in public school, we have experienced many events -some important and others seemingly trivial. All of them have con- tributed in some way to making a well-rounded education. Education i' t i' I tix in lVlcCaskey has come to mean more than book-learning to us. Besides mental development, physical and social development were also provided us. The valuable experience gained in activities beyond the classroom has been richly furnished. Lancaster played host to the l-li-Y's annual South East Older Boys' Conference and the Sophomore Girl Reserve Clubs were organized.
