Principal's Message I am very proud to be the principal of John Muir Junior High School. My Muir jacket means more to me for the pride it brings than for the warmth it gives. As I meet persons associated with education throughout the state , I welcome opportunities to tell about you and this school. There are many aspects of my involvement at Muir which bring me pleasure. As in any situa- tion there are also painful experiences and disappointments. My surest source of pleasure comes from my association with you, the students. I number among you many good friends. Your friendliness, your warmth, your openness, your enthusiasm, your effort, your accomplishment, and the promise you hold for the future , make the pleasure far outweigh the pain. It is always hard to see good friends leave. Members of the graduating class of 1977 , you will be missed. I thank you for the leadership you have provided us this year and wish you continued success as you move on to high school. In whatever you undertake continue to do it with pride.
