Counseling Staff A student's counselor is perhaps the most important person he comes in contact with at Muir. ln the sopho- more cmd iunior years, a counselor will give invaluable advice to his counselee about Muir's course of study and will often solve perplexing problems. During a student's senior year, the full impact of the counselor's aid manifests itself as the student prepares for a higher education or for special vocational training. The Counseling Staff is responsible for programming and transfer of classes. But besides performing these functions, the counselors sponsor all class activities and the Class Councils. They also supervise and organize testing, including the National Merit, the PSAT, and the College Boards. G. .l MR.
