Under 'the direction of Mr. Benjamin Marshall, the speech production class had 'a very active year. During the United Nations Week, four groups from this class appeared at school assemblies, club meetr ings, churches, and other organizations in Pasadena. The debate team, headed by Director of Forensics Jack Miller, participated in many interrschool der bates. Along with Glaveh'ers, a speech club 011 came pus, the debate team planned a speech contest which took place at Muir in May. mam FORENSICS A TRUMPET FANFARE AND AN INTRODUCTION BY disc jockey Carl Bailey could be heard starting 0H the Muir Sports Pa! rade every Saturday night at 6:15 on station KXLA.
