GNECKOW was born on 28 June 1938 in Grand Island, Nebraska He attended the University of Idaho, and re- ceived his commission upon graduation in June 1960. LCDR GNECKOW has served sea tours as First Lieutenant of the USS TAYLOR lDDE- 468l, as Missile Officer of the USS PREBLE lDLG-151, as Weapons Officer ofhthe uss DECATUR lDDG-31i, and as Executive Of- ficer of the USS WADDELL lDDG-24l. He has served ashore at the Navy Guided Mis- siles School, Dam Neck, Virginia Beach, and at the Bureau of Naval Personnel. LCDR GNECKOW is married to the former Patricia Ann Koppes of Boise, Idahog they have three sons: MichaeI,David,and Ronald, and a daughter, Laura.

MOSER entered the Navy as an Ensign in April 1964, after receiving his commission, by way of the Officer Candidate School, Newport, Rhode Island. His first duty stati,on was aboard the USS CARTER HALL lLSD-3l, where he served as Communications Officer. Between March 1967 and September 1967 LCDR MOSER, then a Lieutenant, attended the Naval De- stroyer School, Newport, Rhode Island. He returned to sea as Chief Engineer, aboard the USS HIGBEE IDD-806l. In 1969, he be- came a weapons instructor at the Naval Destroyer School. Beginning November 1972, LCDR MOSER served in Viet Nam, as a Flag Secretary for COMNAVFORV! CHNAVDVGRE MACV until November 1973 to begin his current assignment as Ex- ecutive Officer of the USS JOHN S. MC CAIN IDDG-36l, in December 1973. LCDR MOSER was born in Baker, Oregon, February 1941, graduated from Eastern Oregon College, 1963, and is married to the former Suedean Rea Dunn of Ontario, Oregon: they have three children: Ki mberlee, Jeffrey, and Mark. lf
