Main Office Aides The students here at John Marshall sometimes have free periods known as studyhalls. Since the studyhalls are often crowded, some students took it upon themselves to put their enthusiastic efforts and personalities to good use by working in the office as “Main Office Aides answering the switch boards, copying important material, and running major errands. Advisor Mrs. Gertrude Cole Main Office Aides — Kelly Shaver, Debbie Vargo, An-gelisa Pearson Not shown: Annette Popovich and Michaela Wilson. The “Attendance Aides here at John Marshall experienced a change of pace this year. They began the school year with Mrs. Betsy Gibbons. Then at the end of October, a new attendance secretary, Mrs. Shirley Hug-ley, came from Jamison. The Attendance Aides have a big responsibility. Everyday, they must keep track of all absences and tardies as well as excused absences and call-ins from parents. This year the attendance at John Marshall has increased. Career Club This is the second year of the Career Club here at JMH. The Career Club is sponsored by Mrs. Blanche Irby, Ms. Maurita Prendergast, and Ms. Dorothy Winovich. Again this year, the Jennings Foundation presented John Marshall with a grant. This grant supplied the school with a career computer, enabling our club to do research on various careers. The grant also supplied us with art supplies and money for field trips. Advisors — Maurita Prendergast, Dorothy Winovich, and Blanche Irby You now have our full otten tion. 'Yes we're little angels.
