Coach Valcnzisi The John Marshall 1985-86 Football team was less successful than expected, but they proved to be a group of guys with big dreams and even bigger hopes, and Success did not totally elude them. When the Red Dogs won, they won big. But when they lost, it was a fight to the end. Like knights loyal to their King, the mighty Lawyers mauled and brutally ripped through opposing defensive lines, in search of a victory. More often than not, however, time was not on their side, making the big finish impossible. The final won-loss record is not a true reflection of the team's Fine athletic ability, or of the effort put forth by every one of the young players. Led by senior Captains Rodney Harris and Kevin Jones, this team achieved great personal heights and those heights are the most important of all. These guys are truly winners. 62 Sports
