Thanks. . . Mrs. Nixon Each year a new crop of seniors become acquainted with this warm and friendly lady. As the Cleveland Scholarship Program's advisor at many seniors seek Mrs. Mary Nixon's help in receiving financial aide to college. Mrs. Nixon frequently spends extra hours working for and with students who have the ability, the desire, and the qualifications to attend college. As one gracious student replied. Mrs. Nixon will go out of her way to see that you receive some form of financial assistance to college. Several years ago, Mrs. Nixon was a guidance counselor at John Marshall, In addition to her present duties here, she serves as the president of the Lakewood Library Board and is involved with the state library board. An interest in students is a family affair in Mrs. Nixon's household as her husband is the track coach at Lakewood Senior High School. Mrs. Nixon is described by co-workers and students alike as being helpful, inspirational. and one who takes a deep personal interest in the students. Mrs Nixon is a faculty member who has a special relationship with the college bound seniors of John Marshall. Her efforts have not gone unnoticed by our senior class. Thank you Mrs. Nixon.
