We Don't Remember Days . . . October 18 - seeing our teachers forced to march up and down the streets wearing signs ... the longest school strike in the history of Cleveland . . . the inevitable return to school . . . lines of buses parked in the lot . . . We will operate on our normal extended bell schedule today . . . the bright and shining faces of our beloved security guards I.D.'s must be properly displayed the short and disappointing football season . . . making up for lost time in basketball . . . Tony Dalesio's hats and rubber chicken . . . the staccato ring of lockout bells . . . waiting, and waiting and waiting to see Mrs. Nixon . . . college applications ... no Senior Cafeteria . . . The Road Not Taken Two roads diverged in a yellow wood. And sorry I could not travel both And be one traveler, long 1 stood And looked down one as far as 1 could To where it bent in the undergrowth; Then took the other, as just as fair.
