Servettes 1 ho Servettes is a group which consists of about 50 girls who earn service points for various activities such as ushering school events and serving refreshments both in and out of school. Key Club The Key Club is an International Boys Service Organization for the school and community. It is sponsored at John Marshall by the West Park Ki-wanis. Interpreter Under the guidance of Mr. Richard Nielson, the Interpreter is published 14-18 times yearly. It is the original product of the students of Journalism II. The Interpreter has won many awards for its outstanding quality. It has a rating in the upper 10% of the best high school newspapers hi the country. They also were awarded a plaque for the best high school newspaper in the midwest A Kis.hard Hunt. Glenn Grccnsvalt. and Cordel Williams. members of the Key Club check coats ut ihc Winter Formal B Diane Dvorak. Rich I'ricio, and Joe Garbus look on as Sue Shaw schedules deadlines. E Student Council I he Student Council of John Marshall is one of the most important clubs in our school. They are responsible for all rallies, for keeping all signs inside and outside up to date, for all elections such as those for Student Council Officers and for Homecoming Queen. The spirit of Christmas is boosted at John Marshall when the members of Student Council give each homeroom a chance to compete for the best door decorations. All sorts of wrapping paper and designs are used. The members of Student Council also arrange the Kickoff dance. Doubles dance, and Winter Formal. The Marching Band performs ul all the Student Council rallies.
