Sales Social Studies Tlie teachers in the Social Studies department at John Marshall recognize that it is their duty and obligation to provide students with the type of opportunities which would enable them to reach their maximum potential. Effort was expanded to keep our program up to date and it is changed to meet the national trend when necessary. It is the most sincere hope, that the department provided the student body with a most productive and satisfying experience. Art The John Marshall Art Department strives to develop the art student's talent and ability to their maximum level. The Art I and Art II classes cover the ground work. The basics in drawing, design, and composition arc stressed so that a thorough foundation is established for a mastery in the various art techniques. The Commercial Art and the Advanced Art courses build toward the professional approach in techniques, experimentation, and creativity.
