Early in the morning or late in the afternoon, someone can always be found in the Gym There are many different intramurals offered throughout the season Beginning with badminton and followed by Daisy Mae basketball in which many girls actively participate in tough competition A popular new sport which originated last year is Co-ed Volleyball. The teams of students and faculty play before and after school. Last year the best dressed team was awarded a prize. Girl's intramurals is proud to announce that they have a winning bowling team this year. We traditionally end the season with our annual Senior softball game between the faculty and students A. Basketball, along with its rules and regulations is enjoyed by many girls B. Intramural Bowling is proud of its all-star team C. ludy Burkhardt bowls a strike for her team. Yea Judv! D. At concerts, dances and community functions, the talented John Marshall musicians always provide fine entertainment. Much of the instrumental music for school functions such as assemblies, concerts, and commencement, is provided by the Symphony Orchestra, under the direction of Mr John Raiih. Many hours of practice are required to perfect a performance as outstanding as the Fall Concert The John Marshall Choir, Marshmellos, Girl's Glee Club, and Mixed Chorus provide a variety of vocal entertainment throughout the school year. The community center production, My Fair Lady , also involved many Marshall students as well as local actors. The John Marshall Home Economics Department provides sewing and cooking classes for girls and even some of the boys.
