Prominent Marshallites Awarded Honors for Outstanding Achievements The Advanced Placement English program has been expanded this year to include some ninth grade students . The success of twelfth grade team teaching is unquestioned . Through the dedication of Mr. Schmidt, Miss Rebeta and Miss Hirniak, team teaching has given students the finest sort of training in English literature and composition. Art classes frequent the front lawn of Marshall for unusual scenes. Cultural Studies Significant Part of Curricula Mrs. Hann directs a vocal music class behind the new piano. The music, art and social studies courses are developed with the students benefit in mind. Students are taught to appreciate all art and music forms. The cultural studies provide a broader background for the students regardless of their future plans . Advanced Placement courses give college credits in some cases and in others permit the students to prepare themselves for college . A variety of art classes are devoted to teaching the student the basics in addition to the more advanced ideas . 22
