Curly and Jud dramatize this fight scene in the 'dream sequence' of Oklahoma. The dancers did an ex- cellent job, and the sequence proved to be very effective. OKLAHOMA Laurey, played by Marilyn Lake, harmonizes with her leading man Curly, portrayed by Joel Barker. The two were a hit. The spectacular Oklahoma was presented at JM on Feb. 27 and 28..lt was one of the biggest successes ever to be presented, and everyone connected with it had o wonderful time working with it. The Rodgers and Hammer- stein production was co-directed by Mr. Johnson, dramat- ics coach, and Mr. Suddendort, musical-director. The main characters were enacted by J. Barker as Curly, M. Lake as Laury, C. McGinnis as Aunt Eller, T. Terrell as Jud, J. El- kins as Ado Annie, J. Henderson as Will, and H. Harwick as Ali Hakim. Almost 3900 people attended the two per- formances and gave the cast and crew a standing ovation at the last performance! 39
