'F bv ' 1 P1 yu. t, in K 4 k me ' Chess Competition Fosters lntellectuality 4 . x ln March, l958, the Chess Club was started by Henry Thomas and Tim Bair with Mr. Schultz as their faculty advisor. This year the club has twenty active girls and boys. The meetings are primarily practice games until November when the tournament starts. The tourna- ment is the main event of the club and it lasts into January. The winner is decided by adding up the number of points acquired during tournament play. The Rochester chapter of Future Farmers of America includes all boys who are interested in a life work of farming. The students must meet special qualifications, one of them being: they must have an area of their own in which to work and experiment. Some ofthe i958-l959 Girls' Club officers were Lynn William' son, mystery sister chairman, Mary Lou Bundy, treasurer, Diane Hammond, secretary, Doris Wilkins, president, and Pat Pool, vice-president. How can you forget Girls' Club, the one club for which every girl has the talent, the personality, and The appeal?
