Counselors John Marshall's counselors George hapman, James Hill, Ina May Lawter, athryne Leverett, and Frances Peters ive much of their time toward the ap- tude tests taken by grades 7 through 2. These measurements aid in placing tudents where they can best succeed 1 academic work. There are other reas of students' lives which counsel- rs must know and explore in order rs interpret the capability of the Fudent to himself and others. These words are a frequent introduction to the control center of John Mar- shall. The office and office staff hold a finger to the pulse of the school. Through these rooms pass communications, plans, and directions linking the administration to the faculty and students. Each member of the staff must 'be able to perform many duties from handling the switchboard to checking the daily attendance on the bulletin. Ev- eryone appreciates the long, hard hours of work done by the secretaries June Koopman, Peggy Johnson, Dorothy Haffner, Juanita Allman, and Helen Allsbrook. counselors receive much help from their secretaries Juanita and Fran Bissonette. Jo you really think I'd loan you S50.00? says Helen Alls- Dorothy Haffner, Peggy Johnson, and June Koopman are used to hearing ook' financial secretary, ridiculous excuses given for tardies.
