Vocational ariety Adds Interest to Our Course Using colored styrofoam balls, Caroline Howard and Steve Mayer study molecular structure of atoms. Vocational training is a part ofthe study of every seventh grade student. The girls take cooking, sewing, art, and grooming, the boys take printing, photography, me- chanical drawing, metal working, and woodworking. Many of the students con- tinue in these courses of study and de- velope their talents and skills in a voca- tional field. Students in the tenth grade are eligible for membership in organizations such as the Future Homemakers of America, Fu- ture Teachers ot America, Future Farmers of America and many others. The purpose of these organizations is to further inter- est in the vocational studies. John Lindberg, Suzanne St. Pierre, and Wayne Wells find group work makes mechanical drawing more enjoyable.
