Paperbacks aid library “We must strive to keep up with the times” was the librarians’ motto this year. The addition of paperback books was the newest innovation and they, along with an excellent collection of books and periodicals, offered students a vast amount of research mater- ial. English classes teach appreciation To communicate, to appreciate— English students developed these abilities through specially molded courses. Skills of communication, which included listening, were em- phasized in all grades. To stress originality, fourteen classes participated in the Composi- tion Laboratory Program, which employed theme readers.
