1 969 Although the expansion of classes and student enrollment is rapid, the expansion of the school building is not so rapid. ln the IO years Marshall's been open, one new hall has been added although approximately l,378 students have been added. Classes have to be iuggled in the opening of each semester to balance the classes. Some things remain the same- rock-n-roll music, candy sales and boredom in study halls. Students still complain about the trashy cafe- teria and not Mom's food. Some of the original staff is still here, Get involved is still their theme song to Patriots. Another Marshall first such as all-school ID cards still happens because of our short history, but the excite- P ment of many firsts is gone. Now if we're building traditions.
