Patriots study data process in business Miss Patricia Lanahan, who teaches General Business, and Mr. Kenneth Stanley, who councils and directs the D.E. class, were added this year to Marshall's Business Department. The department, headed by Mrs. Janet Weaver, stressed the dignity and worth of individuals. lt provided skills and attitudes needed to acquire and retain good jobs. The ability to manage present and future personal business affairs was also an im- portant objective. ABOVE-Adiusting a student's typewriter to the correct posi- tion during typing class, is Mr. Steven Sachs. Typing I, ll, lll and IV are offered at Marshall. RIGHT-Typing a class assignment is iunior Jerry Booth. Since it is necessary in most colleges and many iobs, ci maiority of students take at least one year of typing. if l lx 'iii ' Timing the speed and accuracy of iunior typist Carol Edwards is Mrs. Deborah Gioe. Speed is a main part of typing although accuracy, too, is an important goal towards good typing. These students are using electric typewriters which are easier to use and provide a better end result.
