J Q,.-7 Sealed 1... to R. are Sandy Kohring, Sue Lindstrom, Cheryl Marshall's 1964 Homecoming Court was presented to the student body at the homecoming assembly. Each girl was presented a scroll in honor of being chosen for the 1964 Homecoming Court. Miss Coffman was presented with a large Mum by the rally. After the assembly Mar- shallites returned to their reg. rooms Johnson, Sally Richards and Roxanne Robertson. to Vote. Each Senior reg. room had previously picked two girls from which the court was chosen. Queen Cheryl and her court were presented to the student body at the dance and at the beginning of the Roosevelt game. -Seniors 'tacllecs Wir Cotlego Reps.-. Seniors started planning for college 1 early in the school year. As 1 representatives visited Marshall, l students received a preview of college 1 w T life. Information provided by the reps enabled students to decide upon the college they wished to attend. Representatives from both private and state institutions came to Marshall. The agenda for all reps was essentially the same. Students met in large groups to hear general inform- ation on the college. After the large group meetings students who were interested could attend interviews A196 YC Open House was held for Parents on October 29, from 7:30 to 10:30 p. m. The band enter- tained while the rally, A. M.G. officers, and Pep club officers usher- ed. in the library . Parents viewed dis- plays, papers, book re- ports , and other exhibits done by the students as they attended classes . The purpose of Open House is to let parents see the school, meet their children' s teachers , and learn of the progress their child is making. They also acquire a bet- ter understanding of flexible scheduling. Marshall seniors listen to a representative from Portland State College. Ben Harkleroad, candidate for Freshman Class Pres- ident delivers his speech. Mr. Miller explains llexihle scheduling to two parents Q at Open House. E 152
