You're right! was the cry of the fall varsity rally squad. 'Ilhese girls were clad in white pleated skirts with red and blue insets and white crisscrossed V-neck sweaters with a red dickey. They wore matching red shoes and gloves and had oversized pompoms. The rally boys wore coordinating outfits consisting of white V-neck sweaters, blue shirts and knickers, white knee-high socks and desert boots. The girls made raincoats for the bad weather. y Working hard throughout the summer, the girls perfected a new look - straight arm motion to their yells. Majestic Minutemen was the theme which was carried out in the various assemblies and yell books. After football season was over, the rally be- came the official wrestling rally and cheered the boys to their P,l, L, Championship. Adviser The fall I.V. rally girls, Karen, Ian, Penny, Iudy and Pam, were bedecked in red and white checked, blouseytops with blue, U-necked inserts, blue skirts with matching check inserts, white knee socks, blue shoes and red gloves. These girls practiced week nights during the summer. They helped the varsity rally promote spirit, sell yell books and make signs. The rally girls used the unique method of continuous yellingthroughout the game. Mrs. Lane Miss Smith Varsity adviser Jhv, Adviser The I.V. rally consisting of Iane Bradshaw, Edith Cleland, Sue Cushman, Emily Hill, Sandi Ovesen and Nancy Yeamans were pleased to find that they had been chosen to provide spirit for the LV, basketball team. They had many rewarding experiences during their rein as rally squad members such as meeting other rallies from the opposing teams. Clad in white, accompanied by red and blue, their uniforms were highly admired by the Minutemen of Marshall High.
