Special Education -., X'-'Q' Ng H7 Wilma Stone-Department Chairman Special Education Christine McKee Communications is concerned with teaching a student how to best express himself to others. Mrs. Sally Smith instructs students in speech and drama, allowing a stu- dent to openly express himself through voice and movement. Mr. Arthur Johnson helps students learn to express themselves through writ- ing, and the use of pictures by sponsoring the Horn yearbook, the Rampage newspaper, and teaching the Journalism classes. Special Education The Special Education Department was developed to benefit those students who were not able to keep up with the studies ofa reg- ular course. ln this department, each student can develop his own creativity at his own speed. It allows an individual to expand his knowledge according to his own capabilities. Under the skillful guidance of the teachers of the Special Education Department, each stu- dent enrolled in this program receives the best education possible. uw gm y,cp rr' ' 1 . 1 K Y tk W i mx- i i a Tommie Wood Special Education Comm unioa tions Sally Smith4Department Chairman Arthur Johnson-Department Chairman Speechg Drama Journalismg Horng Rampage
