Through many car washes and hard work, this organi- zation went to Ft. Worth to enter in state competition. Two members, Dee Wheless and Anita Morrison, won first place and competed in nationals at Miami. May 15 found F.B.L.A. floating down the San Antonio River for their banquet as their struggle as a first-year club drew to a close. I Fishing Club The Fishing Club has had a very enthusiastic and busy program this year. Being a new club, it had a slow start, but after just a short time, it be- came a booming success. The members promote an avid in- terest in fishing in the great southwest, not to exclude the promotion of good sportsman- ship. Activities this year in- clude fishing at various area lakes, car Washes, a concert in February and a booth at the Senior Carnival. 233
