French Club To extend the fellowship of students studying French beyond the classroom teaching experi- ence is one ofthe many goals set by members of the French club. Preparing for the annual sym- posium fthe state-wide conventionj occupies the time of many French students during the school year. Held March 21 and 22 at Robert E. Lee High School, the symposium brought many achievements and awards to Marshall and proved to be an overall success. Fund raising activities held throughout the year all go toward paying the entry fee at the symposium. Christmas pro- jects, participation in the Ramboree, and the yearly carnation sale for the language depart- ment are among French c1ub's other time-con- suming and rewarding activities.
