In service to the school, the members help with attendance cards, student I. D. cards, and in the main offices. Communi- ty service projects such as parties, adop- tion of needy families at Christmas and visiting senior citizens are just a few of O. E. A.'s innumerable activities. Mu Alpha Theta Mu Alpha Theta strives to promote an interest in mathe- matics among the students at John Marshall. Members of Mu Alpha Theta compete in a variety of math contests, rang- ing from number sense to slide rule.
