Sophomores make their presence known as they hit the half-way mark in their high school career. Remem- bering their first year of upperclassmen 's tortures, soph- omores take their turn at bat against the fish. Sadism is short-lived, however, as they soon become aware that we 're all in this together. Who could forget the time I was so bored in Spanish that Ihad to leave campus for a scenic ride in the country in my V W, with- out my teacher or the registrar knowing, and then returning non- chalantly to class? -Maverick Sensiba Armed with our invincible swords of knowledge and wit, we sophomores easily surpassed our school counterparts in every field of academics, athletics, and mischieviousness. 1 -Fernando Pena Mr, Posey's 'easy' tests in chemistry made my sophomore year unforgettable. -Sharon Mitchell l'll always remember the time l took a nose-dive from the fifth stair in the science wing. -Ka thy Remmers Big 'Z' played 'Big Daddy' after I got in trouble every weekend. -Shirley I the sq uirrelj Castillo
