The Girls Athletic Association is a club which strives not only to keep girls physically fit but also to develop grace and co-ordination. This organization is open to any girl who is interested in sports. A few of the sports offered are volleyball, soft- ball, basketball, and apparatus, plus many more inter- esting activities. The G.A.A. consists of a junior and senior governing board. The girls on'this board decide what sports they would like to have. G.A.A. is based on a point system. After a girl earns one hundred and fifty points, she receives a G.A.A. em- blem. If a girl earns three hundred points, she receives a Marshall similar to the boys' M . At the end of the year there -is a G.A.A. banquet at which the awards are given.
