A kickoff program in the auditorium to promote the sale of yearbooks resulted in more than three fourths of the student body subscribing. The editors and staff meet daily seventh hour with their faculty advisor, Miss Elaine Steiger. They also put in many hours before and after school, and during their lunch and study hours. Co-editors in Chief Diane Al- mond and Kathy Koch used both their charm and their ability to get the work done. We had cooperation from everyone, the girls said, but we're especially grateful to Mr. Sprangers, our school photographer, to Mr. Robert Zacher, our art ad- visorg and to Mrs. Reva Engelke and her typing and shorthand students who really did a terrific job of typing copy. We know members of our staff will agree when we say that Leon Luck made the most outstanding contribu- tion to the book with his artistic layouts and his type suggestions. 'I34
