MUSIC DEPARTMENT All students are eligible to join the senior chorus which trains the students for a cappella choir. Members are selected for excellent singing voices, superior ability to read notes, and character above reproach. Three bands, the junior band, intermediate band, and senior band are conducted by Mr. Michael Yindra. Mr. Yindra chooses the senior band members, composed of high school students, after they reach a high standard of proficiency. The senior band will be Marshallis concert band and will also appear at parades and football games. Approximately 95 students, under the direction of Mr. Frank Orlando are members of three orchestrasg the junior orchestra, the intermediate orchestra and the senior orchestra. Next year the senior orchestra will play for graduationg it also plays in the spring concert, and the Musico.
