Almond, D, Donnelly. the merit recovery board is the organization in charge of assisting students to recover merits. stu- dent regain merit by helping teachers and by maintaining good conduct for a period of from five to ten weeks. this board is made up of six boys and six girls who are elected by the leadership class. the members devote one nutrition period a week to working on the board. their very capable spon- sor is miss adele i. bischoff. the student court is the iudicial department of the iohn marshall student government. it meets every day during second period. the court consists of six girls and six boys in the senior class elected by the entire student body. this organization keeps the merit scores of the entire student body correct and up-to-date. the student court also conducts tair trials for all those who want to defend their point of view after receiving a c.c.b. the sponsor of this busy group is mr. bartley t. sims.
