Disappointing season Varsity finishes 5-4-1 ope glistened in the eyes of the Mustangs as they set up for an onside kick, with the Huskies on top 28-20 and two minutes left on the clock. A successful onside kick raised hopes of a Jay comeback, but as the fans soon found out after four unsuccessful tries for a first down, that was nearly impossible. The Huskies scored again to lock up the game leaving the score 35-205, This wasn't the first time this had happened to the young Mustangsg lltf lt all started when the Mustangs lost a crucial 11-7 game against Marshall in the final seconds. That game took a lot out of us. said junior Jerry Macias, We took the lost too hard and really never quite recovered. he said. After this disappointing loss, the Mustangs went down hill losing to Clark 31-15, Kennedy finallyto Holmes 35-20.
