Roland also added with a smile, that being an officer is ot of fun and very interesting because of the people u meet. The officers organized fund raisers and attended to oblems of the class. The officers met every Thursday orning at 7:15 a.m., to plan for the prom. Are the tickets going to be S96? and What band e we going to have? were just two examples of ques- ns that the officers had to answer. lt was embarrassing when an officer didn't know the nswer to one of these questions. Historian Jenny Mar- tinez said, Sometimes I didn't know the right answer and I would get pretty embarrassed. I would feel that the person asking the question was thinking Did I ac- tually vote for this person? Officers appreciated help and support that they received from the faculty. Helping out with class ac- tivities was sponsor Mr. Lynn Britton. The officers couldn't have gotten along without the help of some very special teachers. Ms. Margaret Buentello, Mrs. Debra Johnson and Mrs. Pam Hummel helped out with activities such as the Senior Fashion Show, Senior Brunch, Senior Trip, and the selection of class favorites.
