Program relives past lack History Day has become a tradi- tion for history students. It gives a chance to see what the black culture went through. They performed skits describ- ing anywhere from attending mass and praising the Lord to the results if a black person was sitting in the front of the bus when a white person came on the bus. The performance was put on by students themselves and history classes were allowed a break in order to view all the presentations. History students listen to their preacher showing examples of ways of praising God. Junior Vernita Griffin asks bus driver Abel Chavarilla before she gets on the bus. 1 5 1 Black Hislory Day Copy and Layout by Silvia Salazar
