Debra Keller he thing I remember most of high school was band, said Salutatorian Shauna Lyn. I made a lot of friends, met interesting people, saw interesting places in and out of Texas but especially I learned a lot about myself. Lyn received the John Jay PTSA Scholarship, Baumberger Endowment and the local chapter Phi Delta Kappa Schlarship and will further her studies at the University of Texas at Austin. Following third was Robert Lucas. He will attend Texas Tech University. Lucas re- ceived an Air Force four year scholarship, Texas Tech Ex-students Scholarship, Nor- thwest Optimist Club Scholarship and the Marvin Jones Dean's Scholarship from Texas Tech. Lucas credits his success to hard work, self discipline, competitiveness between classmates and has ambition to be successful. I credit my success to my parents, they were behind me 100070, they taught me the importance of responsibility and of fulfilling my obligations, said Keith Solbrig. He was a member of NHS, DECA, Mu Alpha Theta, and the German Club. Solbrig received the John Jay PTSA Scholarship and the MDE San Antonio's Employers Associations Scholarship and intends to fur- ther education at Texas A8zM. Copy and Layout by Silvia Salazar 1 37
